![]() ![]() I have found this fine piece of software to respond equally as well with single notes and chords, speaking of which - there is a chord wheel (circle-of-fifths) that gives interactive visual chord feedback. When I record to DAW, if there is a nominal signal delay, it is simple enough to adjust manually or via an auto quantize - so it’s not an issue whatsoever. This low latency makes it easy and reliable to use MIDI Guitar for noodling or recording. With MIDI Guitar, the lag-time from when a note is struck to when a MIDI note is triggered is virtually instant. The one concern guitarists have when using guitar controllers, whether hardware or software, is the amount of latency. Otherwise, no tracking setup is needed, which is very sweet. I have found the recognition of the notes to be spot-on accurate, even when playing the fastest licks - providing the noise gate is turned down a pinch to enable soft note recognition. Firstly, it converts the analog guitar signal into MIDI, which transforms the guitar into a MIDI controller. MIDI Guitar by Jam Origin v2 is an amazingly intuitive audio software that does a several powerful things.
